Sourcing Manager External Manufacturing (MedTech)

Location: Zug, Switzerland; additional location in Beerse, Belgium. Up to 20% domestic and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Develop and execute external manufacturing category sourcing strategies aligned with short-, mid-, and long-term business needs.
• Lead medium-complexity procurement projects and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Legal, Finance, and Regulatory teams.
• Manage supplier selection, due diligence, relationships, performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage contract lifecycle activities, including renewals and amendments.
• Deliver cost reductions, cost avoidance, cash-flow improvements, and procurement performance outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate supply, quality, regulatory, commercial, and continuity risks while supporting supplier innovation and commercialization projects.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience, preferably including Procurement experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
• Experience in analytical work, sourcing strategy development, negotiation, relationship management, and contract management.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership experience with cross-functional or cross-company projects.
• Strong planning, organizational, presentation, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with digital tools and AI tools.

Nice to have

• MBA or Master’s degree.
• Experience with sustainable procurement, supplier diversity, spend analysis, risk management, and process improvement.
