What you will do

• Develop native security controls for Codex, including identity, permissions, and tenant isolation.
• Define versioned interfaces for security partners to inspect activity, return policy decisions, and export telemetry.
• Build a partner ecosystem by creating SDKs, reference implementations, and certification requirements.
• Shape the enterprise customer experience for configuring security policies and audit workflows.
• Establish evaluation and launch gates to test controls under adversarial conditions.
• Collaborate with engineering, safety, and research teams to balance security with developer experience.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Experience building enterprise security, developer-platform, or infrastructure products.
• Deep understanding of identity, authorization, sandboxing, secrets, and audit systems.
• Ability to balance security, developer productivity, latency, and reliability.
• Experience building integrations across complex enterprise systems or partner ecosystems.
• Strong communication skills to work with developers, security architects, and CISOs.

Nice to have

• Experience in application security, cloud security, or enterprise governance.
• Familiarity with RBAC, ABAC, OAuth, OIDC, or secrets management.
• Experience with AI agents, MCP, or prompt-injection defenses.
• Experience building developer platforms or integration marketplaces.
