What you will do

• Oversee EIID’s actuarial deliverables, including GAAP reserving, Solvency II TPs, and Annual QRTs.
• Manage and develop a team of three actuaries based in Dublin.
• Drive SCR/ORSA capital oversight and set key actuarial assumptions and methods.
• Lead the production of actuarial function reports and ORSA opinions.
• Collaborate with underwriting, pricing, claims, and finance to understand and improve underwriting results.
• Enhance reserving and capital modelling tools, MI, and internal controls.

Requirements

• Qualified Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (FIA) or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Maths, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Business.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of GI reserving and capital modelling approaches.
• Proven management experience with a track record of empowering and developing others.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, Power BI, and ResQ.
