Location: Hybrid in Dublin, Ireland (in-office expectation of at least 50% of the time monthly)

Salary: €64,000 – €80,000

What you will do

• Prepare daily customer funds safeguarding reconciliations and regulatory returns for submission to the CBI.
• Investigate uncategorised exceptions and data anomalies to propose and document resolutions for data quality issues.
• Partner with Engineering to build, re-engineer, and automate regulatory reporting workflows.
• Maintain subject matter expertise in reporting data architecture and applicable safeguarding obligations such as PSD2.
• Support new licensing processes by contributing to financial roadmaps, system design, and policy documentation.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails to support internal and external audit requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Hands-on experience with financial reconciliations and regulatory/management reporting.
• Working knowledge of safeguarding regimes like PSD2 and payment institution regulatory obligations.
• Strong IT skills, including intermediate to advanced Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience in a CBI-regulated entity, payment institution, or e-money firm.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tooling (e.g., Claude) for financial analysis workflows.
• Experience contributing to process improvement or automation projects.
