What you will do

• Develop and apply ML innovations by collaborating with cross-functional team members and company stakeholders.
• Research and implement the most appropriate techniques for GenAI, LLMs, and AgenticAI to solve business challenges.
• Perform feasibility studies and conduct data analysis to determine optimal technical solutions.
• Develop, test, and deliver proof of concepts for real-world and large-scale problems.
• Ensure all ML solutions and source code meet high standards of simplicity, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with technical fellows on the integration and deployment of ML solutions into production.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Maths, or an equivalent numerate discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in a related Machine Learning field.
• Hands-on expertise in NLP, LLMs, GenAI, AgenticAI, and practice with prompt engineering and RAG.
• Proficiency in Python, Pytorch, Git, pandas, dask, polars, sklearn, huggingface, docker, and databricks.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Must be based in Madrid, Spain for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• PhD or Master's degree in AI/ML with published research papers.
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLFlow, Prefect) and deploying AI solutions to Azure cloud.
• Background in retail, consumer, ecommerce, or FMCG sectors.
• Experience with tabular data, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting.
