What you will do

• Lead research, discovery, and development of ML models focused on synthetic row generation, open-ended text generation, and data augmentation.
• Design advanced statistical methods and experiments to validate LLM performance and synthetic modeling.
• Develop boosting capabilities and integrate models into hirify.global Exchange workflows with Engineering.
• Refine profiling taxonomies using large-scale datasets for syndicated audiences.
• Manage end-to-end project planning, development, and maintenance independently.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Strategy to align AI delivery with business goals.
• Create prototypes to explain Generative AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in Data Science with track record of leading complex projects.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI and LLMs for text generation and data synthesis.
• Advanced statistical techniques: hypothesis testing, sampling, experimental design, causal inference.
• Strong ML knowledge (clustering, regression, neural networks) and trade-offs.
• Expert Python (DS/ML stack), LLM frameworks, advanced SQL, large-scale databases.
• Ability to research new methods and mentor juniors.

Nice to have

• Experience with Synthetic Data Generation and evaluation.
• Prompt Engineering, RAG, fine-tuning open-source LLMs.
• Probabilistic modeling or advanced profiling.
• Familiarity with online market research or survey platforms.
• Databricks, Spark, or PySpark for large-scale workflows.
