What you will do

• Convert client requirements into transaction rules, event-driven workflows, and platform configurations.
• Capture and document evidence of work for review and replay by teammates or clients.
• Collaborate with client teams to explain technical decisions and translate complex engineering concepts.
• Independently investigate API contracts and client tooling to enable integrations.
• Debug platform-level issues and provide clean reproductions to the core engineering team.
• Use AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate development and improve code quality.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with rules engines, workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal), or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar event streaming platforms.
• Domain expertise in fintech, core banking, or regulated financial services.
• English: Full professional fluency (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go.
• Prior core-banking or ledger experience.
• Experience in AI-assisted or agentic development workflows.
