Staff Software Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area, with office attendance 3 days per week; candidates must be based in the area or be willing to relocate with support from hirify.global.

Salary: $212K–$293K annually, plus equity.

hirify.global is building a revenue design platform that helps teams automate billing, evolve pricing, and manage revenue growth.

What you will do

• Design and maintain extensible pricing lifecycle primitives.
• Evolve the product data model to balance complexity and clarity.
• Scale real-time ingestion and query systems for large, high-performance deployments.
• Collaborate with product management, design, sales, and customer success to shape product strategy and delivery.
• Work directly with customers to understand business-process pain points and incorporate insights into the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to work across a broad range of technical challenges and layers of the stack.
• Strong attention to detail in visual UX, API design, and product development.
• Customer empathy and interest in engaging directly with customers.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area or willing to relocate with support from hirify.global.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, Python, PostgreSQL, Apache Druid, ClickHouse, Kafka, Spark Streaming, or AWS.
