What you will do
- Plan, define, and design high-level data solutions while evaluating emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain scalable cloud-based data infrastructure aligned with decentralized data management strategies.
- Design and implement ETL pipelines using AWS services including S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, and Lambda.
- Establish and enforce data governance practices, ensuring compliance with privacy, access controls, and lineage requirements.
- Lead the implementation and operational support of a data mesh architecture across multiple domains.
- Align technical data architecture with business goals through effective stakeholder communication.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance or above.
- Minimum 8 years of experience designing large-scale data environments (data lakes, warehouses, data mesh).
- Minimum 5 years of experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams.
- Experience working in Agile organizations using Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Confluence, and SAFe.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
