What you will do

• Partner with enterprise and senior architects to shape solution architectures aligned with unified IT data strategy.
• Design and support the modernization of complex systems to scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud architectures.
• Evaluate and prototype emerging technologies, including Generative AI and advanced analytics.
• Apply architectural standards and governance to ensure consistent adoption across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to design end-to-end solutions meeting strategic and operational objectives.
• Champion security, resilience, and scalability as core design principles across data platforms.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering data-intensive solutions.
• At least 1 year of demonstrated solution design ownership for complex initiatives.
• Strong expertise in designing data and cloud architecture, preferably AWS, with systems like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Competency in architecture frameworks, performance optimization, and cross-cutting concerns like security and scalability.

Nice to have

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures (Kafka/Kinesis), and API-first design.
• Knowledge of data platform modernization using Spark or distributed compute.
• Background in data security, privacy, and FinOps practices.
• Applied AI and GenAI experience in enterprise environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
