What you will do
- Drive new business development within the fire safety and built environment sectors.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and social selling.
- Lead customer discovery conversations to understand technical requirements and purchasing drivers.
- Develop strategic account plans to grow revenue in existing and new customer accounts.
- Manage the entire sales process, including qualification, proposal development, contract negotiations, and deal closure.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sales Support teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in field sales, business development, or account management.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Industry experience in the Built Environment (e.g., fire detection, suppression, alarm systems, building materials, or PPE).
- Experience selling Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) services or other technical, compliance-driven solutions is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the UK (approximately 50–75%).
