What you will do

• Set the multi-year design vision and strategy for the Bentley Open Applications (BOA) portfolio to drive business outcomes and user value.
• Lead and scale a global organization of UX designers and researchers, managing both managers and senior individual contributors.
• Partner with C-suite, Product Management, and Engineering leaders to shape portfolio-level roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Champion and implement AI integration to boost user productivity and surface intelligent insights for infrastructure professionals.
• Define and evolve the design operating model, including design systems, research practices, and standards of craft.
• Manage department budget, headcount planning, and organizational design to balance growth and efficiency.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in product design and research.
• 7+ years of leadership experience, including managing other managers.
• Proven track record of influencing C-suite and executive leadership.
• Experience leading design for AI-enabled or data-intensive B2B enterprise software.
• Must be based in or able to work from Quebec City, Canada (Hybrid/Office-based).
• Strong commercial acumen, budget ownership, and workforce planning skills.
