Head of Product Design (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States or Canada

What you will do

• Define and publish the Product Design strategy within the first 90 days and communicate it across the organization.
• Establish design principles, standards, and a differentiated point of view.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve platform engagement, weekly active users, retention, and revenue outcomes.
• Lead, develop, hire, and retain the Product Design team while building a culture of feedback, craft, and accountability.
• Integrate AI tools and workflows into the design practice and coach the team on AI-native ways of working.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience, including at least 3 years in a Head of Design, Design Director, or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience leading design at a high-growth SaaS company and scaling design teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating measurable business impact and strong design craft.
• Systems-thinking, ownership, cross-functional influence, and operational rigor.
• Active use of AI in the design practice and a strong customer focus.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex, data-rich, or workflow-heavy products.
• Curiosity about the work, needs, and trust requirements of real estate professionals.
• Experience at a company with a scale or trajectory similar to the organization.
