Technical Account Manager (Postgres)

What you will do

• Act as a trusted technical advisor for EDB's largest and most complex customers in the APJ region.
• Drive the adoption and expansion of Postgres technology within client organizations.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and solutions consulting for major initiatives.
• Coordinate between internal teams (Professional Services, Field CTO, Support) and the customer.
• Manage technical escalations and provide product feedback to management teams to improve the product line.

Requirements

• Must be based in Malaysia.
• At least 8 years of hands-on experience with Postgres, Oracle, DB2, or MS SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in data management platforms, operating systems, cloud technologies, and technical architecture.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with CxO-level personnel.
• Travel required up to 25% of the time.
• Commitment to complete the EDB Postgres Professional Certification within 6 months.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML concepts.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Professional certifications in relational databases.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
