What you will do

• Define automation solutions based on PLC, SCADA, and Industrial Networks with high-level database integration.
• Program Siemens PLC and InTouch HMI systems.
• Ensure project quality through the execution of FAT and validation test protocols.
• Design and review technical documentation, including automation architecture, IP lists, and electrical diagrams.
• Take overall responsibility for automation and electrical (low voltage panels) design.
• Manage customer relations and collaborate with the European market cluster.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial Automation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Software) or equivalent.
• Fluency in Italian and very good command of English (written and verbal).
• 2-5 years of experience in PLC and SCADA programming and commissioning for processing plants.
• Proficiency in systems such as Siemens (S7, TIA Portal), ABB (Sattline), InTouch, WinCC, or Ignition.
• Experience with Ethernet networking and field bus systems (Profinet, Profibus, Asi, etc.).
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 50% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MES Systems.
• Experience with VMWare virtualization.
• Industrial Network integration skills.
