Maintenance Engineer

What you will do

• Ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of equipment, machinery, and facility systems in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Inspect equipment and premises, diagnose faults, and investigate breakdowns.
• Carry out and oversee mechanical and electrical repairs, installations, upgrades, and replacements.
• Develop maintenance procedures and plan scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Manage contractors, maintenance inventories, budgets, documentation, and staff schedules.
• Perform root cause analysis on major failures and implement actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in similar maintenance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or science, preferably process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience with CMMS and proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and basic safety protocols.
