TL;DR

Accounting Manager (eCommerce): Leading a team of accountants to provide clean, reliable financials for eCommerce and digital-first brands with an accent on full-cycle accounting oversight and operational excellence. Focus on managing a small team of accountants, optimizing accounting processes through automation, and communicating financial insights to clients.

Location: Must be based in Latin America with availability to work EST hours (initial 9 AM – 5 PM, later 80% overlap).

What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of 1–5 accountants to ensure accurate and timely high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee full-cycle accounting, including reconciliations, financial reports, and month-end closes across multiple client files.
  • Improve and standardize internal accounting processes to ensure operational excellence.
  • Communicate financial insights to clients and ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Identify automation opportunities to contribute to scalable and efficient workflows.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting management, preferably within a firm or multi-client environment.
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
  • Strong technical foundation in full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Excellent English proficiency for client-facing communication.
  • Must be based in Latin America.
  • Experience with eCommerce clients (preferred).

Nice to have

  • Experience with NetSuite.
  • FP&A or financial modeling expertise.
