What you will do

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage excise tax returns and annual tax filings.
• Lead, motivate, and coordinate a team of accountants and clerks.
• Collaborate with IT to improve and optimize the ERP system.
• Establish and maintain rigorous internal controls and participate in the budget process.

Requirements

• Bilingualism (French and English) required for collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA certification.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience, including firm and in-house roles.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Proficiency with ERP software (Oracle Fusion preferred).

Nice to have

• Experience as an auditor in a firm.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience with accounting system implementations.
