What you will do

• Own the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) function, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and month-end accruals.
• Manage and develop the AP team, providing coaching, performance reviews, and day-to-day support.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and conduct variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Enforce AP internal controls with a focus on fraud prevention and high-risk transaction monitoring.
• Implement automation and AI-powered tools to modernize and scale AP workflows.
• Oversee P-Card and T&E programs, ensuring policy compliance and proper GL coding.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 5-7 years of accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and expertise in accrual accounting methods.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, SUMIFs, and Pivot Tables.
• Must be based in one of the authorized US states.
• Strong ability to perform financial flux analysis and maintain accurate records.
