What you will do

• Lead and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Supervise the accounting team, overseeing Balance Sheet and P&L activities across multiple entities.
• Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and group accounting policies.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliation of balances, and support group consolidation.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities, preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams to support business initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1–2+ years of people leadership experience supervising and coaching accounting team members.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in complex, multi-entity environments.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• CPA or equivalent international accounting designation is preferred.
• Must be based in Canada.
