Manager, Global Accounting (Finance)

Location: Remote-first role available in Canada, France, Italy, or Spain

Salary: Canada base hiring range of CAD 79,000–117,000; Italy base hiring range of EUR 42,200–60,000

What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and support accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Supervise accounting activities across the balance sheet and profit and loss, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
• Support consolidated reporting, statutory and local GAAP reporting, audits, tax requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, cost centers, and accounting structures in the ERP system.
• Lead accounting process improvements, internal control enhancements, ERP initiatives, and post-merger integration activities.
• Mentor accounting team members and collaborate with Finance Operations, Consolidation, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and operations teams across regions and time zones.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience supervising, coaching, and developing accounting team members.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in complex, multi-entity environments.
• Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple legal entities.
• Experience working with global or distributed teams across regions, cultures, and time zones.
• Experience with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, process improvement, and scalable control implementation.

Nice to have

• CPA or equivalent international accounting designation.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations or system enhancements.
