A FTSE100 FinTech company providing mobile, web, and desktop platforms for trading stocks, shares, leveraged products, futures, options, and crypto.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain FIX APIs to power connectivity with institutional clients and partners.
• Deliver new functionality as part of the IG Prime division's product roadmap.
• Monitor and manage FIX API services with a focus on performance, reliability, and resilience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve processes and service delivery.
• Build test harnesses and increase automation across the FIX platform.
• Provide technical support to clients and internal FIX Support teams.

Requirements

• Around 5 years of Java development experience.
• Strong concurrent and multithreaded programming skills.
• Experience with asynchronous systems (streaming, messaging) and the Spring Framework.
• Proficiency in Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office (Hybrid: 3 days/week).

Nice to have

• Experience with coding using AI.
