Focus on designing scalable integration services, operating high-throughput ingestion paths, and connecting AI/ML models with real-world survey data.
Location: Prague, Czechia preferred; remote work is possible from Spain or the UK

is a research technology company operating a large programmatic marketplace that connects businesses with survey respondents and research data.
What you will do
- Design and build services and APIs connecting the Synthetic Data platform to the Exchange marketplace.
- Develop and operate integrations with third-party survey hosting platforms.
- Build end-to-end ingestion pipelines that normalize questionnaires and response data for AI/ML use.
- Maintain data quality, consent, privacy, throughput, latency, cost, monitoring, and reliability across production integration surfaces.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and the product manager to connect data ingestion with model outputs and product requirements.
- Use Claude Code and other agentic programming tools where appropriate.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend software development experience, preferably with Java.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proven experience building and operating production services, APIs, and data pipelines at scale.
- SQL experience and the ability to own technical conclusions and shape outcomes.
- Comfort working across backend engineering, data, and AI/ML boundaries.
Nice to have
- AWS, Kubernetes, Spring, Kafka, or Kinesis experience.
- Familiarity with Databricks.
- Exposure to AI/ML development, model libraries such as XGBoost, LightGBM, or CatBoost, or LLMs.
