Senior AI Engineer

Salary: £500–£600 per day (Outside IR35)

What you will do

• Experiment with POCs to solve real-world problems using Large Language Models.
• Build and deploy LLM-based solutions using RAG and agentic architectures.
• Design and optimize APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for vector search and knowledge retrieval.
• Collaborate in a 4-person delivery squad to produce working pilots in 4-week cycles.
• Interact directly with clients to shape solutions and explain technical decisions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK
• Proven experience building production LLM systems.
• Strong background in Software Engineering with Python.
• Hands-on experience with agentic architectures using LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or ADK.
• Experience with vector databases and relational databases.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and API design.
• Ability to deliver usable outputs within 4-week timeframes.

• Strong experience with GCP.
• Experience with Graph databases.
• Experience bringing data-intensive projects into production.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
