What you will do
- Lead complex AI engineering workstreams across multiple business areas, products, and stakeholder groups.
- Design and implement LLM-enabled and agentic applications, including RAG, prompt orchestration, and tool-calling.
- Define AI engineering approaches and translate ambiguous needs into structured implementation plans and workflow logic.
- Establish best practices for context handling, retrieval flow, API integration, and code quality.
- Mentor and coach AI practitioners through feedback, guidance, and technical reviews of deliverables.
- Collaborate with AI Scientists and Architects to align solutions with business needs and governed data access.
Requirements
- Must be based in Brazil.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong experience in AI application development using Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure (Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, APIM, Cosmos DB, and Microsoft Fabric).
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and PySpark for AI and data engineering workflows.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD.
