Data Quality Specialist (Environmental Data)

TL;DR

Data Quality Specialist (SQL/Power BI): Supporting the development and implementation of data quality processes and reporting for an environmental disclosure system with an accent on data cleansing, metrics definition, and visualization. Focus on resolving data quality issues, building Power BI dashboards, and promoting a data-first governance culture.

Location: Must be based in the UK, live within a commutable distance of the London office, and be comfortable with 2 days in the office per week.

Salary: £32,157 - £40,197 per year

What you will do

• Develop methodologies and best practices for measuring data quality across the organization.
• Create and implement data cleansing solutions to address identified quality issues.
• Build and operationalize Power BI dashboards to monitor data improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality metrics and resolve issues.
• Maintain data quality reports across specific data domains.
• Promote a data-first attitude toward data quality and governance throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Science or Data Analytics with a focus on data quality improvement.
• High coding proficiency in SQL.
• Experience using Power BI or similar tools for data visualization.
• Ability to present technical content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not provided.
• Strong English language skills, including high reading comprehension.
