TL;DR
Technical Program Manager (AI): Leading a large-scale engineering transformation to migrate a 10+ year legacy monolithic platform to a modern microservices architecture across a 300+ engineer organization with an accent on program execution, dependency management, risk mitigation, and executive reporting. Focus on coordinating dozens of engineering teams, governing milestones and RAID management, and using AI-powered productivity tools to improve execution.

Location: Belgrade, Cluj-Napoca, Krakow, Larnaca, Lodz, Lublin, Monterrey, Montevideo, Riga, Rosario, Sofia, Varna, Warsaw, Wroclaw, or remote from Argentina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Colombia, or Poland

What you will do

  • Lead execution of a large-scale monolith modernization and microservices migration across multiple engineering teams.
  • Track milestones, migration progress, risks, blockers, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Align Engineering Managers, Directors, Architects, and senior leaders on plans, priorities, and delivery timelines.
  • Run program reviews, governance forums, quarterly planning, capacity planning, and roadmap alignment.
  • Prepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and program health reports.
  • Coordinate teams to resolve impediments and maintain delivery momentum.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Technical Program Management or Project Management experience in software engineering organizations.
  • Experience leading large, cross-functional engineering programs involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, legacy application modernization, and microservices migration.
  • Experience with dependency management, milestone planning, RAID tracking, executive reporting, and program governance.
  • Ability to influence and align teams and leaders without direct authority.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading monolith decomposition or large-scale modernization initiatives.
  • Background working in microservices-based environments.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and related project management tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, fintech, or other regulated industries.
