TL;DR
Staff Technical Program Manager (Data Infrastructure/AI): Leading complex engineering programs and cross-functional initiatives for data infrastructure products with an accent on program execution, stakeholder alignment, and technical risk management. Focus on coordinating platform, SRE, and QA interdependencies, facilitating system design and data architecture discussions, and using AI LLMs and agents to improve delivery.
Location: Hybrid position based out of the Novi Sad, Serbia office

What you will do
- Manage complex engineering projects, programs, and initiatives from initiation through closure.
- Define program charters, plans, schedules, metrics, and objectives, and drive execution.
- Lead cross-functional engineering and validation teams while coordinating platform, SRE, QA, product, analytics, enablement, and support stakeholders.
- Communicate program status across the organization and report PMO KPIs to stakeholders at all levels.
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and lead technical task forces for issue resolution.
- Improve project management processes and align teams with program delivery best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of technical project or program management experience.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical role such as software engineering, quality engineering, or platform engineering.
- Experience with Agile and waterfall project or program management methodologies.
- Ability to lead large, complex initiatives with minimal oversight and work directly with senior leadership.
- Proficiency with AI LLMs and AI agents, including tools such as Claude Code, Gemini, or ChatGPT.
- Strong communication, presentation, planning, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Nice to have
- Software project management experience.
- Startup experience or PMP certification.
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Azure, ETL or ELT, and the modern data stack.
