Security Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: LATAM - Remote. Remote-first company with global hiring through direct employment or an employer-of-record partner where legally possible.

Salary: $60,000–$112,000 per year, plus equity and benefits. Compensation is adjusted according to work location, skills, experience, and local pay bands.

What you will do

• Assess new clients’ security posture, infrastructure, compliance requirements, and business objectives.
• Develop and customize security programs covering technical, operational, and administrative controls.
• Guide clients through security improvements and translate security concepts into policies, procedures, configurations, and integrations.
• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and auditors to align programs with business needs and audit expectations.
• Provide engineering feedback to improve integrations, solutions, and products based on client requirements.
• Apply security expertise across cloud, infrastructure, compliance frameworks, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information security, compliance, audit, security operations, GRC, vCISO, security advisory, IT auditing, or a related customer-facing role.
• Broad knowledge of security best practices and frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI.
• Ability to understand client infrastructure and map security controls to compliance goals and holistic security requirements.
• Technical account management or client/stakeholder-facing experience with strong project management instincts.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, adapt to changing client needs, and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• CISA, CISSP, or CISM certification.
• Experience with a Lead Auditor scope across multiple frameworks and an organization-wide security program.
• Previous customer success, IT support, or technical support experience.
