Digital System Architect (Embedded/IoT)

What you will do

• Lead the architectural design of embedded software for RTOS and bare-metal platforms.
• Translate consumer and technical requirements into software specifications and user stories.
• Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders, global development teams, and external partners.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote C/C++ development best practices.
• Define software development lifecycle processes and integrate Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Embed security and privacy principles while exploring IoT protocols and connectivity technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading and delivering embedded projects, preferably in consumer electronics or related fields.
• Experience documenting software requirements, designing architectures with 4+1 views or UML, and preparing test plans and procedures.
• Expertise in code reviews, mentoring, unit testing, static code analysis, performance profiling, and debugging.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of software security, privacy, FMEA risk analysis, ISO/IEC compliance, and MISRA guidelines.
• Knowledge of Linux-based product architecture and embedded communication technologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with MQTT, CoAP, REST, TCP/UDP, Bluetooth, and BLE.
• Previous collaboration with Chinese manufacturers and experience in cross-cultural project management or supply chain dynamics.
