Field Application Engineer

What you will do

• Provide technical support and application expertise for Tektronix products through presentations, demonstrations, training, and technical guidance.
• Support territory sales across pre-sales and post-sales activities, including technical specifications, proposals, and supporting documentation.
• Participate throughout the sales cycle, from deal qualification through successful closure, and contribute to go-to-market initiatives, events, seminars, and presentations.
• Investigate product and application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop customized measurement applications and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support teams to improve customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in applications support or test engineering in the computing or semiconductor industry.
• Knowledge of signal validation, compliance testing, and troubleshooting for PCI Express, DisplayPort, USB, and IEEE-standard interfaces.
• Strong spoken and written Mandarin and English proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, motivation, learning ability, and a willingness to share knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python programming.
