What you will do
- Develop and maintain pricing models for PTL, Shared Truckload, and LTL-to-TL conversions.
- Analyze shipment profile data (weight, cube, density) and routing patterns to build custom rate structures.
- Identify network consolidation opportunities to optimize shipper savings and profitability.
- Partner with Sales on RFPs to deliver pricing proposals, business cases, and savings analyses.
- Build and monitor performance dashboards tracking cost per shipment, consolidation rates, and margins.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in transportation pricing, logistics analytics, or freight brokerage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and financial modeling.
- Experience analyzing transportation costs, carrier pricing, and freight procurement strategies.
Nice to have
- Experience with LTL, Truckload, Partial Truckload, or Consolidation Networks.
- Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.
- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS).
- Knowledge of managed transportation or 4PL environments.
