Sr. Analyst/Assistant Manager Finance Technology (SQL, Python)

Salary: $72,200 - $100,000

What you will do

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Design, develop, test, and support applications, reports, and automation solutions using Tableau, Power-BI, Alteryx, or Python.
• Leverage technology to analyze and present actionable information for tactical and strategic business decisions.
• Apply AI-enabled tools and technologies to accelerate development, documentation, testing, and analysis.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by implementing feature improvements and optimizing performance.
• Collaborate with Finance and Technology teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.
• Minimum 2+ years of work experience in a Business and/or Information Technology environment.
• Experience developing SQL queries, views, and stored procedures against relational databases.
• Proven experience building applications to automate and create efficiencies in business processes.
• Must be able to work without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with .Net, Visual Basic, C#, or UiPath RPA.
• Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Operations, or Supply Chain functions.
• Knowledge of railroad terminology and operational processes.
• Strong project management and time-management skills.
