What you will do

• Manage day-to-day engineering operations and report to the engineering leader.
• Own delivery across all squads, ensuring high quality and hitting aggressive weekly timelines.
• Lead the hiring pipeline and maintain a high talent bar for IC engineers.
• Translate business requirements from executives and customers into technical scope for squads.
• Coordinate cross-squad dependencies and establish the engineering operating rhythm.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools (e.g., Claude Code) as a velocity multiplier.

Requirements

• 10+ years of engineering leadership in SaaS or platform companies.
• Experience scaling an organization from fewer than 10 to over 30 IC engineers.
• Technical proficiency in Go, Python, and TypeScript to perform architecture reviews.
• Strong working knowledge of the modern AI stack: LLMs, SLMs, RAG, knowledge graphs, agents, and eval.
• Proven track record of shipping software on aggressive weekly cadences.
