TL;DR

Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP): Provide full-cycle HR support for the Jackson plant, with an accent on employee relations, regulatory compliance, performance and talent management, and driving engagement and retention. Focus on leading complex change, delivering facility communications, and executing HR best practices while minimizing disruption to a manufacturing environment.

What you will do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting/placement, including interview scheduling, staffing ads, and coordination with employment agencies.
  • Drive employee engagement and retention by partnering with plant leadership and monitoring employee “pulse”.
  • Lead HR functional excellence: employee relations, performance management, talent management, succession planning, policies, and communications.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate and local HR procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration, including wage/salary administration and labor cost planning.
  • Manage leave of absence processes (FMLA, STD, LTD, and personal leave) and support onboarding/orientation.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Human Resource Management or related field; PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • 4+ years of HR business partner experience and/or progressive HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of federal employment and labor laws and experience developing core HR policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex change and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
