TL;DR
Service Assurance Specialist (Engineering): Managing end-to-end service assurance for critical network products including Ethernet, IP Connect, and Mobile Backhaul with an accent on T2R (Trouble 2 Resolve) and L2C (Lead 2 Cash) processes. Focus on driving continuous improvement, defining product health KPIs, and ensuring operational excellence across BSS, OSS, and network stacks.
Location: Must be based in the UK (Ipswich, Birmingham, or London). Working Style: 3 days a week in office, 2 days from anywhere.

What you will do
- Coordinate resolution and root cause analysis for in-life issues across BSS, OSS, and network stacks.
- Drive continuous improvement for L2C and T2R journeys through data-driven insights and cost-benefit analysis.
- Define and govern product health KPIs including service availability, MTTR, and security compliance.
- Provide leadership support for customer bids and new product launches.
- Act as a technical delivery manager to ensure business outcomes for projects.
- Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence and inclusion.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK and able to work from Ipswich, Birmingham, or London offices.
- Strong understanding of network services including Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access, and IP Connect.
- Working knowledge of OSS and BSS systems involved in L2C and T2R journeys.
- Operational acumen with the ability to define and drive relevant KPIs.
- Experience in identifying root causes and implementing long-term corrective actions.
- Ability to comply with regulatory and security standards like ISO27001.

- Ability to build business cases for change using risk and cost-benefit analysis.
- Experience communicating technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
