What you will do

  • Develop and optimize fabrication processes for high-coherence superconducting qubits.
  • Create advanced 3DI interconnect and routing technologies for quantum integration.
  • Analyze inline metrology and electrical test data to improve process yield.
  • Maintain integration documentation, design rules, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to conceive and implement future innovations.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior colleagues in a cleanroom environment.

Requirements

  • PhD in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for a U.S. export license.
  • Demonstrated track record in nanofabrication, MEMS, or 2.5/3D integration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in process integration within a 200/300mm foundry environment.
  • Hands-on experience with electron beam lithography, thin film deposition, and etching techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, Julia, or MATLAB.
  • Experience with statistical process control and design of experiments (JMP/Minitab).
  • Familiarity with superconducting quantum computing components.
