TL;DR

Scrum Master (GCP): Facilitating agile processes for a federal cloud modernization program with an accent on sprint execution, ceremony management, and stakeholder communication. Focus on driving Jira-based task tracking, supporting DevSecOps delivery pipelines, and ensuring compliance with federal IT security frameworks.

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Washington, D.C. 4 days/week

Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually

What you will do

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, planning, grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage sprint boards in Jira, ensuring accuracy and visibility for leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with the Product Owner to refine backlogs and break down user stories.
• Coordinate documentation deliverables in SharePoint and manage ServiceNow ticket integration.
• Support change management activities and facilitate communication between technical teams and federal customers.
• Act as an agile culture carrier, setting standards for task tracking and team communication.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance required
• 5-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software delivery environment.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
• Proficiency with Jira for story writing and sprint tracking.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C. 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with federal IT programs or government cloud modernization.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow and SharePoint in agile environments.
