What you will do

• Design, build, test, and optimize high-volume vacuum manufacturing equipment.
• Prototype and integrate new system functions to enhance existing equipment.
• Manage multiple suppliers to ensure parts and assemblies are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams on facility design and layout.
• Convey complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify employer)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of applicable engineering design and prototyping experience.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD (AutoCAD, Solidworks) and PDM/PLM systems.
• Expertise in equipment design, including frames, sheet metal, machine parts, and piping.
• Knowledge of facilities systems, material flow, and manufacturing automation.
