What you will do

• Define and implement engineering workflows for NPI, engineering change (ECR/ECO), and VAVE to standardize execution.
• Configure and administer MCAD/ECAD and PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Altium) across multiple sites.
• Govern the integration of electrical and mechanical design data into unified product definition and release workflows.
• Own configuration management, including revision control, BOM integrity, and lifecycle control of engineering data.
• Align engineering data across CAD, PDM, and ERP systems to enable a reliable digital thread across manufacturing sites.
• Provide hands-on support to engineering teams to resolve system issues and drive adoption through training.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering systems, CAD/PDM/PLM within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in MCAD tools and PDM systems (e.g., SolidWorks and PDM).
• Experience designing workflows for NPI, engineering change, and product configuration.
• Must be a U.S. Person to comply with U.S. Government export control (ITAR) regulations.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT.

Nice to have

• Exposure to ECAD systems such as Altium.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, or digital thread initiatives.
• Certified SOLIDWORKS PDM Administrator Professional (CPAP).
