What you will do

  • Manage federal, state, and local permitting and NEPA compliance processes for large-scale mining and energy projects.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, private mining companies, and industrial developers.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams in preparing NEPA documents, conducting research, and developing technical deliverables.
  • Identify new business opportunities, prepare proposals, and expand client relationships.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and quality control to meet client expectations.
  • Mentor and inspire staff to foster professional growth and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical science, natural science, policy, economics, environmental science, or related disciplines.
  • 6+ years of experience with national/state/local-level environmental reviews, mine permitting, or NEPA project management.
  • Must be based in the United States to support the Mountain West mining team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project and Teams.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Recent working experience with Bureau of Land Management (BLM) or U.S. Forest Service regulations.
  • Experience reviewing technical studies related to biological resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, or hydrology.
  • Experience managing pre-NEPA work such as baseline data collection and surveys.
