What you will do
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Account Executives through proactive outbound prospecting.
- Conduct high-volume outbound phone calls and personalized email campaigns to engage prospective customers.
- Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers within school districts and educational organizations.
- Build relationships with administrators and education leaders to understand needs and challenges.
- Qualify prospects and accurately document activities in Salesforce (or another CRM), maintaining consistent follow-up across channels.
- Meet or exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline generation goals while staying current on education and special education trends.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Experience working with or selling to administrators in the K-12 education market is required.
- Experience in special education is highly preferred (professionally or through selling technology/services into special education programs).
- Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting, including cold calling and email outreach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create compelling, personalized messaging.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
