Salary: $190,000–$230,000

What you will do

• Serve as the primary legal resource for commercial transactions across the customer lifecycle.
• Draft and negotiate enterprise subscription agreements, order forms, and partner/reseller contracts.
• Partner with Sales, Deal Operations, and Finance to structure deals that balance risk and business velocity.
• Own the legal workstream for partner programs, including marketplace listings and distribution agreements.
• Refine contract templates and self-serve resources to enable commercial team scalability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Privacy teams to address legal questions in enterprise transactions.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar admission in a U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5-8 years of legal experience, specifically in B2B enterprise and mid-market SaaS commercial transactions.
• Direct experience drafting and negotiating partner, channel, and reseller agreements.
• Ability to translate complex business objectives into clear, enforceable contract terms.
• Strong independent judgment and communication skills for cross-functional stakeholder management.

Nice to have

• In-house experience at a high-growth SaaS or developer tools company.
• Familiarity with AI-related commercial terms, data privacy frameworks, and open-source licensing.
• Experience with CLM platforms like Ironclad and AI-powered legal workflow tools.
