What you will do

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts including NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and engagement letters.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day legal contact for sophisticated investment fund and asset manager clients.
• Maintain and update client playbooks to ensure consistency and quality across all negotiations.
• Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals to foster a high-performing team culture.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the legal technology suite by identifying innovations using AI-backed tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of post-law school corporate or transactional experience.
• Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada).
• Proven track record of independently negotiating pre-M&A contracts.
• Experience working with asset managers, investment banks, or financial services firms.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to communicate legal advice crisply and concisely.
• Comfortable working with and evolving legal technology suites.
