What you will do

• Proactively identify, target, and close partnerships with AI coding assistants, agent frameworks, and MCP-native tooling.
• Manage the full partnership lifecycle from initial sourcing and outreach to negotiation and integration activation.
• Establish Mercury's presence in developer communities by speaking at conferences and engaging in online forums.
• Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the AI and developer ecosystem.
• Develop joint GTM plans with partners, including co-marketing and integration launch strategies.
• Feed ecosystem insights back into the product roadmap and overall partnership strategy.

Requirements

• Technical foundation with the ability to evaluate API integration complexity and communicate with CTOs.
• Proven track record as a "hunter" in sourcing and closing new partnerships from scratch.
• Deeply embedded in the AI and developer ecosystem, including knowledge of emerging tools and influencers.
• Commercial mindset for structuring and signing high-value deals.
• Strong communication skills for public speaking and technical content creation.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience in fintech or working at an API-first company.
• Background in Developer Relations or solutions engineering.
