Location: Must be based in Mexico (Remote or Hybrid options available)

What you will do
- Design, build, and enhance scalable applications and services using Elixir and its ecosystem.
- Implement cloud-based solutions within AWS environments following established security, reliability, and scalability practices.
- Integrate AI tools, specifically Claude, into the development lifecycle to streamline engineering tasks and improve code quality.
- Develop and support event-driven workflows and data processing using Kafka and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Mentor and lead other developers, participating in architecture discussions and establishing best practices.
Requirements
- Must be located in Mexico.
- Strong hands-on experience with Elixir and its ecosystem.
- Proficiency with AWS, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience or strong desire to champion the use of AI tools in daily engineering workflows.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
