Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do
- Design and evolve distributed systems in Go to handle billions of daily events and petabytes of data.
- Lead architectural decisions regarding performance, reliability, and real-time event processing.
- Improve service-to-service communication through robust APIs, messaging systems, and event-driven patterns.
- Collaborate across teams to identify and resolve system bottlenecks to improve customer experience.
- Debug production systems at scale using advanced instrumentation and observability tools.
- Leverage AI tools to prototype, accelerate development, and inform technical decision-making.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Americas
- Significant experience (10+ years) building scalable, distributed systems in Go or similar statically typed languages.
- Deep expertise with relational (MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational (DynamoDB, BigTable) databases.
- Strong proficiency in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP).
- Proven ability to debug and operate production systems at scale.
- Bias for action and strong sense of ownership over technical decisions.
