Senior Cloud Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Mexico; 100% remote. The role may require up to 25% travel depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Collaborate with software development teams to deliver production-ready client solutions, initially focused on .NET modernization.
• Review technical requirements with the Lead Architect, contribute to technical decisions, and deliver working software.
• Participate in discovery sessions to gather customer requirements and align solutions with client needs.
• Follow solution architecture decisions and collaborate with architects, project managers, peers, and business leaders.
• Create, automate, and refine multiple levels of AI-driven testing.
• Expand into additional languages, frameworks, AWS services, and AI technologies as customer engagements evolve.

Requirements

• Current legal authorization to work in Mexico is required; visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.
• Deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem and senior-level C# experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and experience containerizing Windows Services with Docker and ECS.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework 4.6/4.8 and modern .NET Core/.NET 8–10.
• Experience with ASP.NET WebForms to Blazor migrations, NuGet incompatibility remediation, IIS to Linux porting, and MSMQ to RabbitMQ migrations.
• Strong customer experience, collaboration, communication, and technical consulting skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AWS services including ECS, EC2, RDS for SQL Server, Amazon MQ, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Python, Node, React, TypeScript, UX/UI, LLMs, AgentCore, GenAI, automated testing, CI/CD, or IaC.
• Experience delivering client-facing customer engagements and building with AI for productivity or client solutions.
