Senior Financial Analyst, Data Center Finance (AI)

Location: New York, NY; onsite role associated with US-based employment and export-control eligibility requirements

Salary: $108,000–$143,000 base salary per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and eligible benefits.

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day financial planning and forecasting for data center operating expenses, including leases, power, equipment financing, and site operating costs.
• Build and maintain forecasts for the global power footprint and align deployment timing with capacity-planning timelines.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and management dashboards.
• Support long-range planning and scenario modeling for strategic operating and capacity decisions.
• Partner with Data Center Operations, Capacity Planning, Power & Sustainability, Real Estate, and Sales on financial strategies and performance improvement.
• Identify cost-optimization opportunities and automate repeatable forecasting, reporting, reconciliation, and data-preparation workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, asset management, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Experience building large, complex financial or operational models.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, scenario modeling, and presenting reports to senior management.
• Must satisfy applicable US Government export-control eligibility requirements for access to controlled information.

Nice to have

• Experience translating operational inputs into financial models, forecasts, and recommendations.
• Knowledge of data center finance, energy markets, leasing structures, or cost-optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with facilities engineering and critical-facility operations, including MEP repair and maintenance cost drivers.
• Experience with NetSuite and with automating recurring modeling and reporting processes.
