Associate Financial Analyst - Investment Planning

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; travel between Massachusetts and Connecticut is required as necessary

Annual salary: $67,940.00–$75,490.00, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Support the Investment Planning team for natural gas operations.
• Compile and coordinate operational, accounting, and financial information for rate cases, annual reconciliations, and regulatory plans.
• Prepare documentation and monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance filings.
• Develop and maintain revenue reconciliation models and procedures aligned with regulatory policies and company tariffs.
• Produce monthly financial reports and support annual budgeting and monthly financial close activities.
• Conduct regulatory research, interpret complex information, and develop sound conclusions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Knowledge of accounting theory, accounting practices, financial reporting, analysis, and financial model management.
• Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to draw sound conclusions.
• Experience working with large databases and manipulating data files.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPlan, and internet-based tools.
• Visa sponsorship is not available; applicants requiring immigration-related sponsorship will not be considered.
