Salary: $77,800–$126,390 for Madison, WI; other listed ranges include $75,500–$139,030 for Chicago and Houston and $79,000–$132,710 for Austin and Dallas/Frisco, TX.

What you will do

• Evaluate renewable energy infrastructure investments across solar, storage, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen.
• Build financial models and analyze project economics, cash flows, tax attributes, risk-adjusted returns, and financing alternatives.
• Underwrite tax equity and project finance transactions to support investor returns and capital efficiency.
• Coordinate due diligence, transaction structuring, negotiations, and closing with developers, sponsors, legal counsel, tax advisors, lenders, and other counterparties.
• Review development assumptions, engineering reports, legal documents, and third-party diligence to identify investment risks.
• Prepare Investment Committee memoranda, capital aggregation materials, and market research on financing structures and renewable energy regulation.

Requirements

• Four-year degree and at least 3 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, project finance, or consulting; energy or power industry exposure preferred.
• Experience building three-statement models, tax equity models, cash flow projections, and related financial analyses.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and project management skills with high professional and ethical standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
